The Arcade
Nine small games built from scratch with vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS — no frameworks, no build step, no ads. Everything runs right here in your browser, and the newest ones play just as well on a phone. The badges on each game tell you what it wants: a keyboard, a mouse, or just your thumbs.
Now Playing
Tertris
PLAY →Falling blocks, done properly: ghost piece, hard drops, a fair 7-bag shuffle, and levels that keep getting faster. On-screen controls on phones, full keyboard on desktop.
Solitaire
PLAY →Classic Klondike with drag-and-drop, undo, hints, and an auto-finish that ends in a proper card cascade. Draw one or three — dealer's choice.
Flippy Bird
PLAY →One button, no mercy. Tap or press space to flap through the gaps and chase your best run.
Snek
PLAY →Eat, grow, and try not to bite yourself. It speeds up as your score climbs. Arrow keys or WASD — bring a keyboard for this one.
The Back Room
Every arcade has one. These are the earliest experiments, kept exactly as they were first written — rough edges and all. The newer games grew out of them.
Square Game
The very first one: click the squares, rack up points.
Maze Game
Steer through a tiny maze to the goal with the arrow keys.
Pong
The old standby, versus a simple computer paddle.
The Legend of Zelda
An extremely abstract tribute — one blue hero, one red foe.
Rock, Paper, Scissors
Played entirely through browser prompts, like it's 1995.
Built one game at a time in pair-programming sessions with Claude. View source on any of them — there's nothing to hide and no minifier in sight.
